• พักกาแฟ (Degas) ประมาณ 5–14 วันหลังวันคั่ว ก่อนเริ่มชง
  - เพื่อให้กลิ่นหอมและรสชาติของกาแฟชัดเจนยิ่งขึ้น
• กาแฟจะสดอร่อยที่สุดในช่วง 30 วันแรกหลังคั่ว
  - แต่ยังสามารถเก็บไว้ได้นาน 2–3 เดือน
  - ควรเก็บในภาชนะปิดสนิท ไม่ให้โดนอากาศ ความชื้น หรือแสงแดด
